L'Oréal EverCurl

I had super naturally curly hair when I was younger. I then started to color and use heat styling on my hair and it is now less curly, but still wavy. I need product to help with my waves so I tried this Ever Curl from L'oreal. It smells great, helps with frizz, and won't make your hair greasy or stiff. Try it out to help tame your waves.

I received L'Oreal EVER products complimentary, but all opinions are my own.

IDAhoser

I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Idaho.
I hopped on a super sketchy greyhound bus and a few hours later I was in Boise.
Boise is actually a super charming city.
It's full of creative food (including fries),
fun buildings, entertainment,
graffiti art,
places to hike with great views,
summer Saturday markets outside the capitol building,
and so much more.
So if you're looking for a super fabulous quick getaway, consider exploring Idaho.

MOTHER

I'm pretty sure my mom thinks I give the best gifts out of all of her children.
Happy Mother's Day to all you crazy ladies out there - those who long for babes-, soon-to-be pregnant-, dog-, adopted-, step-  moms. No matter how you say it (mom, mommy, mother, mum, madre), it's an honorable title. Thanks for all you do.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

If your plans for the weekend include watching the latest Marvel movie CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, then I'd say you will have a pretty sweet time. I was lucky enough to see it last night.
When the government sets up a governing body to oversee the Avengers, the team divides into two groups—one led by Captain America and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Are you #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan?

I was excited to see a new Spider Kid...er Man.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR opens in theatres everywhere on May 6th.
Check out more from Marvel Studios at Facebook, twitter, Instagram, and the official Captain America website.

#MothersDayMovie

Mother's Day is a holiday honoring motherhood and it is fast approaching (reminder to send a card or call).
Mother's Day is also a soon-to-be-released film that invites us all to enjoy the laughter, tears, and love as 3 generations come together in the week leading up to the holiday.

Open Road Films has created this star-studded comedy just in time for the big day. I had the opportunity to take my mom and my expecting friend Jessica to theater to watch it last night. I was a little nervous about what to expect. I have seen other films similar to this (with several stories that somehow are supposed to combine in the end) and totally was unimpressed. This movie made it work. It tells the story of a newly widowed father and his daughters, a divorcee and the problems that arise with new people in their personal and children's lives, a business woman, a young couple struggling with the idea of marriage, and sisters who don't know how to speak to their parent's anymore.
My favorite story of the film is the young couple. One of them wants to tie the knot, but the other is holding back because they still need to "find out/discover who they are." Doubts, fears, and uncertainty can often old us back from progressing in life, but if we can learn to trust in others (and most importantly ourselves) we can move forward with faith. I know it is easier said than done and we all make mistakes or hold back, but it is never too late to open our hearts and let love in.

*The film also helped me realize all moms are a little bit crazy (just as much as children, dads, and friends are crazy too).*

Check out the Mother's Day Card I made on the official Movie website HERE.

Thanks to Influenster, Champion, and Target,
I was able to try out the #C9atTarget Sports Bra.
It's comfortable, colorful, and simply wonderful.
The fact that it is adjustable, stretchy, and pullover racerback fitting makes it my new favorite.
Try one on for yourself at your local Target store.
*PS They are on sale right now*
Day-Z and I went for a run by the lake to test it out and enjoy the view for Earth Day 2016.

ELLIE GOUDLING Concert

Have you had the chance to see Ellie Goulding on tour?
This girl did.
Even if we didn't know the lyrics to all of her songs,
if you add some ice cream,
good friends, and sweet dance moves and...
you will love her like we do.
Thanks for the great concert.

EASTERS

When the grandchildren are too old for Easter egg hunts,
there is still a grand-dogter that wants to play.
We filled some plastic eggs with dog treats
and Day-Z found them and popped them open.
Hope you peeps had a Happy Easter.

FIRST AID KIT

Are you or is someone in your house accident prone? My dad likes to do construction, but sometimes construction doesn't like him. (Sorry, Dad, it's true.) That is why we always need to keep first aid kits close at hand at my house.
This First Aid Kit by Protect Life is great. It comes in a small, lightweight canvas bag with handles that make it easy to carry/hold. It is the perfect size to put in the glovebox or trunk of your car or keep in your home or office in a small cabinet.
It has over 70 common items you might need in case of an emergency or accidental fall. The bag zips and all of the items are located in two plastic pouches that close with Velcro.
These are all of the items in each plastic pouch.
Some of the items include: scissors, bandages, eye patch, gauze, and so much more. You can never be too prepared! It is important to be ready in case an unfortunate event happens and this first aid case will provide you with items you need to help protect/aid yourself or others around you.
As a bonus, after ordering this product, I was given access to an ebook with "Must-know first aid steps for unexpected events" and "First Aid Kit Contents Guidelines" so I would know how to use this kit. How fabulous is that?! Like G.I.Joe always said, "Knowing is half the battle," that's why reading up on this material is good idea. Thanks for a great product!

I was given this item at a discounted price for my honest opinion.

WE MAKE THE MOUNTAIN LOOK GOOD

I probably haven't been on ski slopes for at least 10 years, but when your little "Czech brother" needs to test out his new skis because his school is taking a week long trip, you one-piece suit up!

Ivanka and I were warming up the mountain temps with our matching outfits.
The guys didn't look too bad either.
First run on the bunny hill to boost my confidence.

Check out the Czech ski lifts in this video. It was like riding a frisbee on a stick.
I appreciate the bum tap at the end from the attendant.
I still don't know what to do with the poles when I go down the mountain so I ditched them.
Tomorrow we are going to try snowboarding in Germany.
I have a feeling that might be more my style.
All I now is we sure made that mountain look good.

SUMAVA GREATNESS

Life is beauty full. My goal this year it to do more things I won't forget. I want to find beauty and greatness everywhere I go and not complain so much. I have found that beautiful thoughts make beautiful people. I am lucky to be where I am and who I am. No more complaining. (I might have to be reminded of this a few times...)

I used to complain about going to the forest house in Borova Lada with my Czech family (I even called it Boring Lada), but now I just look harder for the beauty and fun opportunities I have in the trips. Here is what I have come up with so far:

Every day is a start of something beautiful. Enjoy the heck out of it.
