HEALTHY TOOLS

Spring is here! What does that mean? In Utah, it means crazy, unpredictable weather, but it also means swimsuit weather is coming soon. For some of us, that means we need to get in shape.
Zenwise Labs makes an Advanced Green Tea Extract that contains a specialized blend of Green Tea and Vitamin C. Green Tea extract has been shown to assist in weight loss, lower the risk of heart disease, and lower cholesterol without making you feel shaky or jittery. By adding Vitamin C, you can increase the antioxidant effects and boost your immune system. All of their products are all-natural, made in the USA, and GMP certified so you don't have to worry about the quality of the ingredients you are putting into your body.
Since I know you'll love that Zenwise Labs product so much, I will tell you about two other products they have available as well. Pictured above is a pre-workout that will give you the energy you need to boost your workouts, runs, or various physical activity. It will give you that extra boost to help you work a little harder. Some of the unique ingredients include L Arginine, L Ornithine, and L Citrulline, which have been shown to increase nitric oxide levels, support muscular energy, and delay fatigue.
This Hair Growth product has Biotin and 27 high-quality ingredients that are designed to help revitalize and nourish your hair. It is allergen-friendly, meaning it contains absolutely NO gluten, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, eggs, or fish so it is great for everyone. Zenwise Labs offer a 100% no-hassle manufacturer guarantee for all their products. This means if you do not get the results that you were looking for, simply let them know and they will provide you with a full refund. I love when companies stand by their products.
Another necessary thing I recommend for staying healthy is stretching. Sometimes tightness in your muscles can interfere with your sleep and stretching those muscles can only do so much. That's when you need a foam roller. This one from Rolling With It is 36 inches long and 6 inches around which is a perfect length for full back therapy to eliminate pain and improve mobility and flexibility.
It doesn't matter your weight or level of physical expertise, this foam roller will work for you.

Possibly THE most important new tool for me this season is this
Treat My Feet Electronic (Battery Operated) Foot File & Callus Remover

This device is easy to use, battery operated (just 2 AA batteries), and will change your life forever. It will look like you spent tons of money at the spa on your pedicure after just one use. It takes just a few minutes and you can do it in the privacy of your own home.
The kit comes with the device, an extra roller, cleaning brush, and instructions. You will not regret purchasing this -- in fact, you might want to buy one for yourself and one to give away as a gift! #treatmyfeet

#ReverseYourRoutine
TRESemme has come out with a new conditioner you use first and shampoo that you use second. It sounds crazy, right?! But it is fabulous! It will leave you hair smooth and polished but still full of bounce. You must add this to your make your hair more beauty-full.

I received these products at a discounted price in return for my honest opinion.

YOGA SWEAT

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I believe some people are made to do yoga and some are not. If you watched me when I first put on the Yoga Sweat DVD, you might have politely told me to try another form of exercise.
Julie Schoen (yoga trainer, author, founder of yoginiology.com, and the lady in the video) looks fantastic and does the moves with ease. Deanna (mean Reese's Peanut butter cup milkshake maker, dog walker, and kinda lazy lately) looked more like an elephant trying to tiptoe.
I'm not posting any photos of me because my dog does more graceful poses than I do.

I know from other experience that stretching is super good for your body. I get a lot of knots in my shoulders and my body really lets me know when I have been slacking with exercise/stretching. So I thought why not give yoga a try?
I am an absolute beginner! I was able to follow along pretty well with the 10-minute warm-up (and it really did warm me up). The first 30-minute workout came on and the instructor goes a little fast. I'm sure it will get easier once I learn the poses. I realize it isn't so repetitious as an aerobic routine video where you do a small move a bunch of times in a row so you can catch on after the first couple. The moves are all named off as they are performed on the DVD. I've never heard chaturanga, dandasana, upward facing dog, downward dog, eagle in the nest, warrior 2, hopper step forward, offer the heart, etc. It was a little intimidating (like a foreign language). DON'T GIVE UP! You will get it. Practice makes perfect. The second 30-minute workout was more my style and KILLER for the core (you'll feel it in the legs, glutes, arms, and back too--no worries). To end, there is a nice 10-minute cool-down that helps with your breathing (in savasana) and is full of stretches that I am already familiar with from previous stretching in PE classes from high school.
It is supposed to be powerful and fun yoga for weight loss and beginnersdon't let the intensity scare you. Don't give up on it. I have no doubt this 80-minute yoga DVD is great for losing weight, toning your body from head to toe, and working out in an effective way. #namaste

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
