PROVO PUPPY PADDLE POOL PARTY

It's the end of the summer season and that means the public swimming pools are closing. There is a day between when the pool officially closes to the public and the water is drained where the community can bring their dogs to swim.
There were separate times for small and large dogs to play.
The entire pool area was open for them to run and play off-leash.
The dogs were having so much fun playing and splashing.
Some even went down the waterslide.
There was a swimsuit and talent contest.
It was a pawsome event put on at Provo Recreation Center!
It's just another reason I love living in Utah County.

The event was free for humans and $5 per dog.
Be sure to join the fun next year or look for your city's turn to host HERE.

4TH of JULY in Los Angeles

I'm in L.A. with my Czech family right now which means I get to be in America for the 4th of July which happens to be my second favorite holiday. (Insert happy dance).
The backyard of the house we are staying in has a great view of the Hollywood hills.
I made sure to buy American flag clothing for everyone to wear.
We spent a fun day at the pool
with red, white, and balloon fun.
William is the new grill master and cooked up a yummy BBQ feast.
We ate and listened to some patriotic music.
Then around 8:30PM, fireworks started going off like crazy all across the valley.
I wish you could see the fireworks in this picture better. It was amazing. I have never seen so many firework displays going off at one time all throughout L.A.
We had a great view on top of Mulholland Drive.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

L' EA BIANCA

Two weeks in Sardinia (a wonderful Italian island - not the fish in a can)
starting: now...
The resort is pretty much fabulous

day...
or
night...

and everything in between.
Around 10pm, just after dinner, this fantastic fountain turns on...
and the frogs come out...
and they start singing.
I even tried kissing one to see if a hunk of an Italian prince would show up.
No luck. Guess I'll have to stick to more conventional ways.
During the day, the lizards
and the kiddies play...
