BEES BASEBALL

The first day of summer is approaching and what makes my heart smile this time of year?
(Well, besides parades, lakes, and vacationing) It is baseball and fireworks!
My friend Joe Keller and I headed to the ballpark for a great night with the Salt Lake Bees.
The view in the park is fabulous.
It looks even better closer up.
I scored a great souvenir helmet to help Day-Z be a fan too.

ALEX AND ANI ADDICTION

There aren't many things that I think I MUST buy. I can usually talk myself out of making purchases, but for some reason I just LOVE Alex and Ani products. The company and products have great +energy that I can't pass up. I have a wrist full of bangles so I have started buying necklaces.

THE SANDLOT - 20 Years Later

1993
2013
I was able to attend the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Sandlot at both the Spring Mobile Ball Park and the original sandlot here in Utah this weekend.

They cast signed autographs,
posed for photos,

and showed the movie on the fields.
A special plaque was presented to the crew dedicated to the site.

On Saturday, the director proposed to his girlfriend. The director's friend handed me a camera and asked me to follow him and take lots of photos of the proposal. It was super sweet.
(If you look closely, you can see me in the background being the unofficial official proposal photographer.)
Here are some more photos of the fun:
For-ev-er!

 Director David M. Evans

Producer Cathleen Summers
 The Chief
 Tommy "Repeat" Timmons
 Timmy Timmons
 Hamilton "Ham" Porter
 Michael "Squints" Palledorous
Alan "Yeah-Yeah" McClennan
Ham said it was too hot and was ready to hit the pool to check out the chicks. No Wendy Peffercorn in sight. Too bad they were banned forever from the pool that day...

To end the night, we stopped by Vincent Drug. Anyone remember how much the kids paid for their baseball?

BEES BASEBALL

My pal, Skippy and Isis hooked me up with tickets to a Salt Lake Bees baseball game tonight at Spring Mobile Ballpark in SLC.
We met Takeru Kobayashi who holds the Guinness World Record for eating hotdogs, they handed out collectible team garden gnomes, and the team had a sweet victory over Sacramento 5-2.
Bees, gnomes, baseball, hotdogs, and Isis...oh my!

FENWAY PARK

There was one place in Boston we didn't visit yesterday that was on my list so we went back today.

Fenway Park...America's most beloved ballpark.
Home of the Boston Red Sox.
This is what it looks like during the off-season.
Celebrating 100 years in just a few months.
Green monster seats
oldest seats in the house
We were able to tour the park (Yankees jokes included in price)
I was almost as excited as Jimmy Fallon's character in the movie Fever Pitch.
