OREM DOG PARK

Day-Z and I (and I'm sure plenty of Orem residents) have been waiting for 4 years for the promise of a dog park in our city. It has finally started to come true.
The new bark park is up Provo Canyon at Timpanogos Park.
There is crushed granite inside the park and seed has been spread to grow some grass for the dogs. It isn't completely finished, but the official grand opening was Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 9am.

The mayor was there for a ribbon cutting ceremony and every dog in attendance received a fun tennis ball to take home.

The park has two sides for big and little dogs, double gates, fire hydrants on both sides, a drinking fountain for both dogs and humans, poop bag dispensers, and benches for owners to sit on. More trees for shade and other improvements are in the works says Orem City.
Grab your leaves and let's go play!

PROVO BARK PARK

Today, we were able to celebrate the opening of Provo City's first dog park. Hooray!
There were plenty of dog treats for the official unleashing ceremony.

The ribbon was cut and the hounds were let loose.
The new park is located in Bicentennial Park (1440 S. 1600 E.) in Provo.
Day-Z gave it her paw of approval.
*Thank you, Spencer Heaps from the Daily Herald for some great photos.
