Day 6: DONUT BAR

Before driving home, I woke up early and bought some special donuts for the group from the Donut Bar. It is a tiny shop that opens at 7am and closes when they sell out. I read that you have to get in early to get the more popular flavors.

 I ordered maple with bacon, root beer float, creme brûlée, peanut butter cup, mexican hot chocolate,

 strawberry, nutella, and boston creme - just to name a few.

 My favorite is the bacon apple fritter, strawberry split, and Cro Bar. They are a bit pricey at $34 for 1 dozen (don't judge me for paying that much for a donut), but they were yummy.

I arrived home later tonight and had a pooch who wouldn't leave my side. Love her.

WOMENS PIRATE COSTUME

In celebration for Talk Like a Pirate Day, Krispy Kreme is giving out free doughnuts.

If you show up and talk like a pirate, you get a free doughnut.

Dress like a pirate, and get a free glazed dozen.

Did I participate? Ye better believe it, Matey.

I grabbed my Sea dog

 and swashbucket crew and we yo ho hoed!

*Me thinks it was mighty nice of the Krispy Kreme landlubbers to grab a treat off the conveyor belt before it went under the wonderful glaze stream for my pirate pooch. 

As you can see, we all had at least 3 of the required elements in order to score the glazed treasure, but our costumes were still lacking a little bit.

So, in order to be ready for next year, and to make sure they won't be stingy with thar donuts, I ordered the perfect gear. 

Thar she blows! This will be me standing in line next year on Talk Like a Pirate Day.

My Valentine's Day was full of red fashion

but the kitty too.
