CHALK THE BLOCK

I love the shops at the Riverwoods in Provo. It is the cutest little shopping center and employees at the stores seem to be so much more friendly than those in the same stores at big malls.

They have fun events all year long and one of them is called Chalk the Block.

The Chalk the Block Art Festival is a free three-day street painting event. More than 200 artists spend hours painting and chalking to transform the Riverwoods into captivating scenes.

 This is my favorite quote from the event:

There will come a time you'll see, of no more tears.

And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.

I survived the Chalk the Block 2014 3-D slide.

Guess who isn't going out tonight?! This girl. Why?

1. I just got back from Vegas in the wee hours of the morning. 

2. Season 6 premiere of The Voice on NBC tonight and Adam Levine is...well, 

PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive.

Don't forget the other celebrity musicians and coaches Shakira, Usher and Blake Shelton return, while Carson Daly continues to serve as host.



Watch as the contestants compete through the blind auditions, the battle rounds, the knockouts and finally, the live performance shows.

The Great Inflatable Race - UTAH

I've decided to start running again.
One of the runs on my list this year in Utah is The Great Inflatable Race. 

Here are some details:

Date: 5/31/14

Time: 10 am

Place: Murray Park in Murray, UT

Benefiting: Humane Society of Utah

Ages: Ages 5 and up are recommended (bring the whole family)

Type of Race: Obstacle Fun Run (roughly a 5k)

You read correctly…a fun race for a great cause. I adopted Day-Z  from the Humane Society and I love to do things to support them and the animals there.

Registration prices increase April 15th, 2014.

SOCHI OLYMPICS

I had the chance to touch a real gold olympic gold medal and meet some former US olympians while watching the 2014 Sochi opening ceremony.

 NOTE: There isn't chocolate inside.

Despite the #SochiProblems we've been hearing about, I thought the show was pretty cool. 

The only thing I wasn't fond of was our outfits.

Team USA, My Grandma phoned and says she wants her white turtleneck and tacky sweater back.

FUNDANCE

It was #Sundance Film Festival time here in Park City, UT. I only made it up the last few days, but I was able to get in lots of fun.

My friend Jessica and I listened to KT Tunstall (maybe you don't recognize her name, but you'd recognize "that one song" if you google her), LeeAnn Womack& a few others.

 Tasted my first veggie burger at the MorningStar Farms® Veggie Burger Bar
