The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (you know, the Mormons) is big on service and helping people around the world. One way they help out is providing food to those in need. They have a cannery nearby in Lindon, UT, where I was able to volunteer. The whole process was pretty amazing.
Peaches come from a can. They were put there by a (wo)man in a factory...
That woman was me last week!
My time spent there was just peachy...literally. Service is cool.

But will you eat them anytime soon. We did applesauce and it took us a good year to eat it again.
ha ha. We had to watch an orientation video that said, "DO NOT eat food off the assembly line." There were a few peaches I picked up that looked REALLY tasty!! But I resisted.
xoxoxo
I helped do syrup a while back, then they had me spray down the big vat. Good times. BTW, I'll be in Utah the week of Oct 10th.
That'a so cool! And I must say you sure look snazy in that hair cap ;)
