Disney / Pixar CARS 3 MOVIE PRINTABLES #CARS3

Disney/Pixar’s CARS 3 is now playing in theatres everywhere! I had the opportunity to see it a few days before it opened at a special screening. I haven't seen the previous Cars movies, but I sure loved this one.
CARS 3 is full of humor that is the perfect film for the whole family to enjoy.
Lightning McQueen made his rookie debut in “Cars” in 2006; more than a decade has passed since he was a young superstar. Next-gen racer Jackson Storm races at speeds pushing 207 mph which is a bit faster than McQueen, but he doesn't let that get him down. Instead, he uses it to help him become a better racer with the help of his strong spirited Trainer Cruz Ramirez. Cruz's training style is high-tech. Will Lightning McQueen be able to keep up?
I'm not going to spoil the movie for you, but I will share some fun printables to keep the #cars3 excitement going at your house.

VISIT THE #LLPA AQUARIUM THIS SUMMER #AquariumSummer

I was able to go the amazing Loveland Living Planet Aquarium here in Sandy, UT, with the fam this week as part of the Mom It Forward Influencer Network. This means I received a family pass for 6 to check out the new attractions. You might be thinking a visit doesn't fit in your budget this month, BUT the aquarium has $5 off for Family Night every Monday, where guests can get $5 off regular admission prices after 4:00 p.m. The aquarium is open until 8:00 p.m. so you will have plenty of time during your visit.
There was so much to see!
There are hands-on exhibits for children that help you have fun and learn at the same time.
We were entertained for the longest time trying to spot different colored frogs,
touching sting rays and tiger sharks in the ponds,
watching the penguins waddle and dive,
walking through the tunnel with sharks,
and enjoying the fish swim in a natural habitat.
As I have mentioned, the aquarium has so much more to offer besides just fish and sea life. In the new Expedition: Asia area, there is a leopard!
The aquarium has party rooms and you can host events or company parties in their banquet rooms.
Guests can participate in animal feeds, meet 'n greets, and story time. Those events are listed on their calendar page at thelivingplanet.com/calendar and are free when you visit.
There is always something exciting happening at the aquarium.
Get ready because in July, they will be celebrating Shark Week.
Visit the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium this summer, and you’ll see and experience the following:
ecosystems, South America, Expedition: Asia, the deep sea, the South Pole, the ocean, and so much more. That's right, you can experience different ecosystems from around the world without even leaving Utah. Say hello to your best ever staycation!

Find out more information about the Living Planet Aquarium by following them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

PROVO PUPPY PADDLE POOL PARTY

It's the end of the summer season and that means the public swimming pools are closing. There is a day between when the pool officially closes to the public and the water is drained where the community can bring their dogs to swim.
There were separate times for small and large dogs to play.
The entire pool area was open for them to run and play off-leash.
The dogs were having so much fun playing and splashing.
Some even went down the waterslide.
There was a swimsuit and talent contest.
It was a pawsome event put on at Provo Recreation Center!
It's just another reason I love living in Utah County.

The event was free for humans and $5 per dog.
Be sure to join the fun next year or look for your city's turn to host HERE.

4TH of JULY in Los Angeles

I'm in L.A. with my Czech family right now which means I get to be in America for the 4th of July which happens to be my second favorite holiday. (Insert happy dance).
The backyard of the house we are staying in has a great view of the Hollywood hills.
I made sure to buy American flag clothing for everyone to wear.
We spent a fun day at the pool
with red, white, and balloon fun.
William is the new grill master and cooked up a yummy BBQ feast.
We ate and listened to some patriotic music.
Then around 8:30PM, fireworks started going off like crazy all across the valley.
I wish you could see the fireworks in this picture better. It was amazing. I have never seen so many firework displays going off at one time all throughout L.A.
We had a great view on top of Mulholland Drive.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

BEES BASEBALL

The first day of summer is approaching and what makes my heart smile this time of year?
(Well, besides parades, lakes, and vacationing) It is baseball and fireworks!
My friend Joe Keller and I headed to the ballpark for a great night with the Salt Lake Bees.
The view in the park is fabulous.
It looks even better closer up.
I scored a great souvenir helmet to help Day-Z be a fan too.

STRAWBERRY DAYS - UT

Pleasant Grove city's Strawberry Days is the longest continually running event in Utah.
It is full of rodeos, carnival rides, fireworks, parades, and, of course...
strawberries!
I grabbed a few friends and joined other Summer festival lovers for a night of fun!
 Giddy up, Utah!

SCERA SHELL OUTDOOR THEATER

Isn't it fabulous that old friends can start new traditions?!
Jessica, Tor, and I have totally enjoyed going to the musicals at the Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre in Orem. Utah County is amazing with entertaining it's residents.
We'll have to postpone our outings for a little bit, but when I get back into the country, I'm sure you will find us at another performance!
*Don't forget to pack the blankets and warm clothes if you are going to a show. It gets chilly in the bowl.

ALPINE SLIDE

It's officially August which means it's time to start my month long birthday celebration! The first event was a trip to Park City, UT, to ride the alpine slide and roller coaster with my friend John.
There are other attractions like a zip line and jump you can try out, but we stuck with the double pass for the two rides. We did the coaster first. It was fun. Then we rode the slide which was awesome!
Park City is super amazing, so the view you get as you ride the lift up to the top of the slide isn't so bad.
Try it out if you feel the need for speed with a side of nature.

CECRET LAKE

I heard about a sweet hike to Cecret Lake in Alta, UT, from my friend Heidi and I had to go.
There are 120 varieties of wildflowers in this area that can be seen blooming for only about 2 months out of the year.
My goal: to see some flowers.
Mission: accomplished.
If you continue on the trail for a short 3/4 mile, you get to Cecret Lake.
It is small, but well worth the short walk.
While we were there, we saw a moose, swimming salamanders, and little furry animals like the guy pictured below.
It is a must hike in summer months if you are in Utah.
This is the moment on the car ride home when you realize you are singing along to a Taylor Swift song and aren't embarrassed by the fact. Ugh that last album of hers...
