LDS GENERAL CONFERENCE

It's that semi-annual time of year when we head up to Salt Lake City, UT, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worldwide General Conference.
I had 3 tickets and invited my long-lost gal pals Aja and Michelle.
It was a great morning full of inspirational music, words, and great view of historic temple square across the street.
Find out more about General Conference here.

DIXIE CHICKS SERIOUS

What do you do when your best gal pal's favorite musicians come to town?
You get a group together who are ready to run to dress up in black and white outfits just like the band.
You go early to save wide open spaces for your party of ten.
Thank you, Dixie Chicks for taking us away to memories from almost 15 years ago.

STRAWBERRY DAYS - UT

Pleasant Grove city's Strawberry Days is the longest continually running event in Utah.
It is full of rodeos, carnival rides, fireworks, parades, and, of course...
strawberries!
I grabbed a few friends and joined other Summer festival lovers for a night of fun!
 Giddy up, Utah!

BFFriends

Sometimes you learn your BFF from high school has moved closer to you and you get to go visit her and her cute little family.
Sometimes that meeting includes the world's largest hamburger (don't actually check the record books and quote me on this one) at Famous Jud's in Boise.
Then you go to the local nature center and let her children take about 179 photos of flowers
and bugs with your cell phone camera.

and then you end the whole trip with a photo with giant antlers.
Now that is true friendship. Love you, Danae.

ALISON'S HIP HOP HOORAY PARTY

Alison from The Alison Show throws super fun parties in Utah County. This one had a 90's hip-hop theme and was called Alison's Hip Hop Hooray.
So I grabbed some gal pals, gold hoops/chains, some pretty tacky denim/street gear and we partied like it was 1990-something!
All of Alison's parties include sweet photo opportunities,
amazing swag,
tons of fun,
a throne of awesomeness,
plenty of Alison,
and some great booty shaking!

See you at the next party.

IDAhoser

I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Idaho.
I hopped on a super sketchy greyhound bus and a few hours later I was in Boise.
Boise is actually a super charming city.
It's full of creative food (including fries),
fun buildings, entertainment,
graffiti art,
places to hike with great views,
summer Saturday markets outside the capitol building,
and so much more.
So if you're looking for a super fabulous quick getaway, consider exploring Idaho.

BIJOU MARKET

Every once in a while you just need to grab some girl friends and shop for stuff so cute it makes you call people over to say "Aww," together.
We went to Bijou Market: Utah's Leading Handmade and Vintage Boutique.
I might have not been able to resist the many cute prints
and this adorable wooden heart decoration that now sits on my dresser and makes me smile every time I see it. Deanna loves you. Bijou bijou.

LAKE SHOTS

My friend Joe bought a new camera lens and asked if I would do a little photo shoot with him.
I suggested this a sweet barn door I have had my eye on.
 and some balloons.

Then we headed to Utah Lake
 for some wind
 and sweet scenery.

This place I live in is BeUTAHful!

ELLIE GOUDLING Concert

Have you had the chance to see Ellie Goulding on tour?
This girl did.
Even if we didn't know the lyrics to all of her songs,
if you add some ice cream,
good friends, and sweet dance moves and...
you will love her like we do.
Thanks for the great concert.
