eShakti - CUSTOMIZE YOUR CLOTHES

Sometimes being tall and thin poses a problem when shopping. I know, you are thinking "Boo-hoo, this girl has real problems." But it's true. Because as you order a smaller size, the length gets smaller which leaves me looking like I'm waiting for a flood or I win the shortest skirt contest at church.
That's why I like to order from eShakti. They have clothing that ranges from size 0-36W (and of course Custom sizes and styles as always). They also provide options to remove/include embroidery, pockets, or other embellishments on their products. That means you can customize your dress - add/remove/adjust sleeves, change up the length, etc.
A new cute Spring line has just been added to their site AND a bridesmaid section. I think this is super cool. You can totally choose a dress and then let the bridesmaids add their own flare to it (like the photo below)
The nice people at eShakti have provided the code DEANNALW47, for my blog readers to get 20% OFF when you shop at eShakti - valid from 02/26/13 thru 03/20/13.

Code has to be entered in the 'Promotional Code' box. No Minimum Order Value. The discount code is not case sensitive. The code can be used any number of times until the validity period. This code can be clubbed with any other gift coupon or gift card in the same order. This discount code is not applicable on our Overstock category. Not applicable on previous purchases.

VALENTINE

My Valentine's Day was full of red fashion
 not just for me,
but the kitty too.
There were plenty of heart-shaped surprises
 and treats

and the best delivery dog in town.

Hope you had a happy Valentine's Day!
Deanna loves YOU....and the Franco brothers.

INTERESTING BOOK TITLES

Dear Aspiring Authors,
Please think and then rethink the title you choose for your future books.

I've been searching libraries, book stores, and various shops for good books lately. In my search, I have found some interesting book titles.
Who wants to head to the kitchen?
From the who cares about collection
(also available Who Cares About Elderly People)
Way more exciting than the house that love built
New edition to the Where's Waldo books
sex education in the children's department?
Was this written during Civil War times?

So, please, think about you title. And then get a second opinion.

SOMEBODY THINKS SHE'S HUMAN

I thought there was a new pooch in the house, but sometimes it seems like somebody thinks she's human.
I wake up to find her on the bed, under the covers, with her head on the pillow.
She likes to sit by for daily hot chocolate and reading of the newspaper.
She's most comfortable sitting like this.

She always calls "shotgun" in the car.
And sometimes I walk into the front room to find we're wearing the same thing.

NEMO

Day-Z found her Nemo. No storm is gonna get her down or keep her inside. She loves running/hopping through the snow!

And enjoyed a little snow cave

BIRTHDAYEXPRESS.COM PARTY PACKS

In anticipation of the Super Bowl (and with my fingers totally crossed), I ordered a New England Patriots party pack. Even though they didn't make it (sniff sniff, tear tear, Go Ravens!), I didn't let the pack go to waste. Luckily, my friend Brandon had a birthday coming up and is a big Patriots fan!
So I put on my best team shirt
My mom helped me decorate
Add a little Pizza Hut pizza, breadsticks, 2 Liters of Diet Coke, and some banana cream pie
And through the tears of his team not making it to the big game, Brandon was still able to enjoy his sweet NFL Patriots themed day.

This party pack came from birthdayexpress.com. It includes 8 dinner plates, 14 oz. plastic cups, forks, spoons, knives, 16 napkins, solid color table-cover, football centerpiece, reusable plastic football tray, foil balloon, 12 balloons (2 colors), crepe paper rolls (2 colors), and curling ribbon.
*You might be able to find this pack on clearance now since they lost*
There are tons of other themes for parties for both boys and girls ranging in ages from children to adults. You can find birthday, holiday, special occasion, and solid color themes at the site (and it's super easy to navigate through).
Maybe next year I won't dare be so confident and I'll stick with something more safe that everyone loves like this Angry Birds party pack below:
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
