PAJANKET REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

Things I am obsessed with in 2018 already are buffalo plaid, blankets, and boots.
Those things all go so well together in Winter, especially for us here in Utah. We have blankets, but children often throw or drag them on the floor. While that might save you some time from dusting, it doesn't make your blankets look so hot.
I discovered a small company with a super cute product called Pajanket. It is a fully-mobile, no drag, wearable blanket. When I saw they had a few in my favorite pattern, I couldn't resist trying them out. They also sell a few solid colors (for both boys and girls) if you aren't into the plaid.
These blankets are designed for your littles to wear (sizes ranging in 4-11 yrs of age) without dragging on the ground. There are adorable little foot and arm holes that allow them to still move around freely.

Pajankets have a zipper in the front to allow the kiddies to climb in and get cozy. Kids can also tuck their and arms inside the blanket for added warmth.
If these aren't the best idea ever, then I don't know what is. They are perfect for lazy Saturdays, when you watch movies together, or pretty much any time.
These blankets are cute, comfortable, and made right here in the USA.
Use code Pajanket35%OFF at checkout when you shop for a 35% discount.

CLEO MADISON Fashion #cleomadison

I have two things to share with you:
#1 I found THE coolest wall in Bluffdale, UT, at the Cents of Style warehouse. If you know me, then you know I love walls. It's an obsession of mine. Can you blame me? One side of the warehouse is painted with giant color blocks that will blow your mind. So go dance your heart out in front of this awesome space.
AND
#2 I just found THE most comfortable dress from Cleo Madison
This dress is super comfortable, great for putting in your suitcase when traveling, has pockets, and is practically perfect in every way.
As you can see, it looks great on it's own with an elastic waist and 3/4 length sleeves or you can dress it up and accessorize it with any color belt, shoes, jewelry, or hat.
Cleo Madison also sells footwear, skirts, swimwear, and tops that are both cute and modest. That's right - modest are hottest.

PROVO PUPPY PADDLE POOL PARTY

It's the end of the summer season and that means the public swimming pools are closing. There is a day between when the pool officially closes to the public and the water is drained where the community can bring their dogs to swim.
There were separate times for small and large dogs to play.
The entire pool area was open for them to run and play off-leash.
The dogs were having so much fun playing and splashing.
Some even went down the waterslide.
There was a swimsuit and talent contest.
It was a pawsome event put on at Provo Recreation Center!
It's just another reason I love living in Utah County.

The event was free for humans and $5 per dog.
Be sure to join the fun next year or look for your city's turn to host HERE.

BABIES & JACKETS

Do you know more babies are born in the month of August than any other month? It's true. I am one of them thanks to those cold November days. So that means that there are lots of pregnant ladies around the globe right now in the middle of winter.
I was just shown the coolest jacket made by Mamaway that I want to share with you. It's like a transformer jacket.
#1 It's a normal down puffy jacket available in colors blue, cream, yellow, and pink. It comes with a hood to keep your ears warm. I'll only buy jackets with hoods from now on!
But wait, it comes with a secret zip-in panel that can be used two ways.
#2 The elastic panel can go at the bottom to be worn as a maternity jacket so it can stretch and cover the belly.

#3 Once the baby is born, you can flip the panel the other way and wear it over a baby carrier to keep you and the babe snug and warm.
The jacket is made with high quality material that is soft and super warm. It is windproof. It also come with a storage bag for easy packing and can be used to travel. The jacket has two pocket on the front and two inside pockets.

Stay warm and try out this cool maternity 3-in-1 down jacket from #mamaway whether you are pregnant now or plan to be in the future this winter. It could also make a great baby shower gift.

I was given this item at a discounted price in return for my honest opinion.

PLZEN - NAMESTI REPUBLIKY

There are some angel heads that people who visit the town square touch for luck.
Some local company decided to dress the angel heads in tiny, colorful hats and scarves this winter.

I wore the same outfit as the angels...how embarrassing.
Just kidding. It's adorable.
Don't worry - nobody rubbed my head for luck.

POSTURE

I recently saw an article that listed a reason to be very jealous of Taylor Swift. I mean she has a lot of things going for her like money, fame, talent, the ability to wear red lipstick without looking stupid, super hot guys in her music videos, supermodel friends, etc. But among those things is she she has amazing posture!
It's true. I looked through all of the photos in the article and Swifty is always looking poised and practically perfect in every one.

So this got me thinking about myself and noticing how I slump on the couch to watch a movie and it's horrible. I was given a Faburo adjustable posture back brace to test out for a bit.
This brace is comfortable enough to wear throughout the day. It is great for long periods of sitting behind a desk at work, or a daily jog. The brace is designed is designed to pull your shoulders back, straightening your posture while constantly reminding you to position your shoulders in the proper form.
While helping to fix posture, the brace also helps relieve many back pain issues. With your back muscles in proper form, spinal pressure may be relieved. That's a plus!
The brace is available in black and white. It is easily adjustable via the shoulder straps and fits many sizes (26"-40" chest size). I even had my mom try it out (that's her in the top two photos).
Tip: for greater comfort, wear the brace over a shirt.

Of course, for best results in straightening your posture your physical participation is required...unless you have a magical TayTay wand to wave around. Give it a try. Now I'm off to drink gallons of water to get that JLo glow she promises comes from her major consumption of water. I wonder if she has a bladder as small as mine though.

SANTA BOOTS

Last year, I tried to get Day-Z to take a photo with Santa Claus. She acted just like a (human) child and was terrified of the guy. What makes Santa so scary? She wouldn't even sit on his lap.
So I got the best idea. I was going to order a Santa Costume and take our own photos. Then I wouldn't be disappointed with a disk full of no good shots that I had to pay a pretty penny to have taken. I checked out the site Wholesale Halloween Costumes. They are awesome because they sell the best selection of costumes for men, women, girls, boys, infants, and dogs at the lowest wholesale prices. You can usually find a discount code to use on their site as well making the total of your purchase amazingly affordable.
Well, I ordered the boots Santa boots thinking she would sit by them and all of the photos would be lovely. The boots came and looked totally legit. They were way better than some I had seen at other costume shops. They had quality fur at the top and fit like a charm to make the Santa scene perfect.
We just needed to insert dog. After all my hard work, it turns out I just have a camera-shy dog who makes awkward faces whenever a camera is in front of her. Maybe I'll try something different next year.
I can't blame the Santa boots for the photo fail. They were fabulous. If you looking for a pair of your own, check out their site. They have costumes and items for every possible holiday and celebration you can plan all year round.

VELVET HANGERS

I am getting older and I think that means I wear less t-shirts and have more clothes I need to hang in
the closet. I hate it when my shirts slide off the hanger so I decided to try BriaUSA heart shaped velvet hangers.
The hangers are slim so they save space in your closet.
They have notched shoulders to keep items from slipping. Yes!
There is a swivel hook at the top so you can maneuver them easily on the rack.
They have a super cute heart design which might encourage girls to use them instead of leaving clothes on the floor.
These hangers are great for hanging suits, jackets, pants, shirts, dresses, blouses and accessories. You can purchase a 10 pack of these hangers on Amazon and you won't regret it.

Sweet Salt Clothing #GIVEAWAY

My favorite jean shorts that I have had for like 7 years have a hole in them. I was devastated when I noticed the hole starting and then I thought "7 YEARS?!" That thought made me realize I need to update to my wardrobe and donate some old clothing to the thrift store.
What things have I had my eye on recently?
I love this polka dot shirt and jacket
and this pencil polka dot skirt.

Where can you find these cute items? They are sold by Sweet Salt Clothing. I love shopping with companies who have good customer service and Sweet Salt offers a no-quibble returns policy. Modest, fashionable, and affordable clothes AND great service....I'm sold.

The nice people at Sweet Salt Clothing would like to give 1 person a $50 gift card to spend at their shop. Enter below:

eShakti - CUSTOMIZE YOUR CLOTHES

Sometimes being tall and thin poses a problem when shopping. I know, you are thinking "Boo-hoo, this girl has real problems." But it's true. Because as you order a smaller size, the length gets smaller which leaves me looking like I'm waiting for a flood or I win the shortest skirt contest at church.
That's why I like to order from eShakti. They have clothing that ranges from size 0-36W (and of course Custom sizes and styles as always). They also provide options to remove/include embroidery, pockets, or other embellishments on their products. That means you can customize your dress - add/remove/adjust sleeves, change up the length, etc.
A new cute Spring line has just been added to their site AND a bridesmaid section. I think this is super cool. You can totally choose a dress and then let the bridesmaids add their own flare to it (like the photo below)
The nice people at eShakti have provided the code DEANNALW47, for my blog readers to get 20% OFF when you shop at eShakti - valid from 02/26/13 thru 03/20/13.

Code has to be entered in the 'Promotional Code' box. No Minimum Order Value. The discount code is not case sensitive. The code can be used any number of times until the validity period. This code can be clubbed with any other gift coupon or gift card in the same order. This discount code is not applicable on our Overstock category. Not applicable on previous purchases.
