It's the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Plzen by the American army and today ended the festivities. These are the beautiful sights I've seen on my walks around town (amid the rain).
American and Czech flags flying together
German propaganda posters
At the top of Americka street, there is this nice memorial:
Czech citizens gave lilacs to WWII soldiers in gratitude and so during this celebration you could smell the beautiful flowers around in remembrance.
Thank you, America!
