FREIBERG

How charming is the city of Freiberg, Germany? On a scale of 1-5, I'd give it a fünf.

I'm not sure what the green & white banners are for, but they were all over the city.

Even the cemeteries were cute (is that possible?)

Not sure what this was, but I just loved the area.

cute little window flower box decorations
I read the city has a big solar panel plant
 modern art in a cathedral

 tallest spire in the city
Canals that run along the city in a gorgeous park
Of course, I enjoyed a bretzel (or two) while I was there.

Not a very big place, but definitely charming enough for a nice day visit.
It was a very grey, but wonderful day.

FREIBERG, GERMANY TEMPLE TRIP

I had the opportunity to wake up at 5am and drive 3 hours with the Plzen branch members to the Freiberg, Germany Temple today. Yeah...it was early, but totally worth it.

This humble building was built during communist times. Imagine a religious place where the government wasn't allowed to enter.

Moroni wasn't included in the original, but was later added.

It had some interesting stained glass windows.
