I'll admit I watched a few episodes of American Idol this season. The finale was last night and I'm just wondering if anybody else was thinking what I was thinking....

RIVER BREAK

Some years the Athabasca River provides cool views for residents here during a phenomenon called River Break. Some years they experience a dynamic river break — which didn't happen this year — where the ice piles up and pushes through the Fort McMurray area as one giant glacier, bouncing off the sides of the river. Pretty cool. This means Spring is coming. Here was my river break experience.

There are SO many ridiculously good-looking actors on day time television. Too bad they have to be on during my gym time and for the fact that soap operas are lame.

MOTHER'S DAY

It's was just Mother's Day. While being pregnant is an incredibly awesome thing, skimping on purchasing maternity clothes is not so awesome sometimes.

I mean, just because you're expecting doesn't mean you should settle for outdated or poorly fitting clothes.
