Day-Z shook her pompoms for the Patriots during Super Bowl XLIX last weekend.
What do we do now since the big game is over?
We watch football movies.
I'm a sucker for good football and baseball movies. The latest one I watched is called 23 Blast. You can watch the trailer HERE.
It was released in a limited number of screens at theaters in the fall of last year, and it was released on DVD January 20th. It's rated PG-13 (I think because it shows a beer bottle on school property), but I'd say it is pretty safe for the entire family to watch. Here's the movie plot: Travis Freeman is a local hero both on and off the high-school football field in his small Kentucky town. Travis mysteriously contracts an infection that destroys his optic nerve and leaves him blind overnight. His coach has an idea to keep him on the football team despite how others might feel. The movie is based on a true story and is totally inspirational. You will love it!
