THE DENTIST'S CHAIR

I never understood why people on tv or in real life dreaded having a dentist appointment so much...until recently. I am used to dentists telling me I have pretty teeth and haven't had a cavity since I was a little girl (knock on wood). But just before I left the states I went in for a filling.

Then it turned into more: more work, more money, and more pain.

Yes, they were nice and tried to make it as comfortable as possible for me, but it still hurts like a mother (and if you know my mother you know she hurts a lot). I now have sympathy for those who dread sitting in the dentist's chair.

*shudder* I dread the dentist office just because everytime I go in I'm told I need to have something done. I know it's totally my fault for not taking better care of my teeth but whatevs.

Are you on drugs in that picture? lol You look all doped up.

Yeah, it can be hard sometimes to understand how people feel tense when they're at the dentist's. Until those long and uncomfortable procedures come along, of course. Still, I hope stuff like that won't make you feel nervous! Keeping calm helps a lot in making the procedure comfortable, and the anxiety can sometimes be worse for some people...
